Travis Blanton, MD

Dr. Blanton was born in Columbus, GA and has lived in various parts of Georgia his whole life. He pursued a bachelor's degree in chemistry and minor in biology from Georgia Southern University, and then went on to complete medical school at Mercer University School of Medicine.

He attended residency in Family Medicine at Piedmont Columbus Regional, here in Columbus, Georgia. While in residency, he had the honor of serving as co-chief resident his final year. Other distinctions include being a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Blanton's medical interest include preventative care, public health, patient education, and sports medicine.
