Sylvester McRae, MD

Dr. McRae has had a distinguished career as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist in Columbus spanning more than 36 years. Dr. McRae earned a bachelor's degree from Fort Valley State University and a Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency in OB/GYN from the Medical College of Georgia Hospitals. He has been performing robotic procedures since shortly after he joined the St. Francis medical staff in 2010. Dr. McRae is an active member of numerous civic organizations and serves on the board of directors of the Fort Valley State University Foundation and the Medical College of Georgia Foundation. He is the past chairman and president of the Georgia State Medical Association and served as past president for the Georgia Physician Association.
