MaleAbout Shane Darrah
Dr. Darrah grew up in Columbus, not far from where he practices medicine today. After graduating from the Medical College of Georgia in 1997, he completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University. In 2000, he began his fellowship in general cardiology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr. Darrah was Chief Fellow during his third year fellowship in 2003. He remained at UNC for his Interventional Fellowship and completed this in 2004. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Darrah moved to Columbus and founded Southeastern Cardiology Associates.
Dr. Darrah has a simple approach to patient care. He treats his patients the way he would want his own family members to be treated if they were in the same situation. His patients give him the highest ratings and often times refer their friends and family members to him for care. Dr. Darrah feels very fortunate and privileged to care for those that entrust their lives with him. Medicine is both a passion and a calling.
