Dr. Mewar graduated from M.G. Institute of Medical Sciences in Wardha, India with a degree of M.B.B.S., MD (Medicine) in 1985. After that he joined Royal Hospital, Muscat, Oman and worked in Department of Cardiology until 1993 when he immigrated to the United States of America. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine from Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey in 1996.
Subsequently, he did his fellowship in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology from St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, MA in years of 1999 and 2000 respectively.
Dr. Mewer is board certified in Internal Medicine, General Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology.
