Paige Bence, FNP-BC

Nurse practitioner Paige Bence brings over 15 years of expertise in chronic, traumatic, and surgical wound care, as well as extensive operating room experience, to the St. Francis Center for Surgical Care. She values the blend of individualized care and advanced clinical skill central to general surgery, particularly minimally invasive techniques that deliver superior outcomes and quicker recoveries for patients.

Throughout her career, Paige has prioritized focusing on each patient individually to ensure comfort, safety, and dignity in every interaction.

“Building strong patient relationships is centered on trust, active listening, and empathy,” Paige said. “Involving patients in care decisions, while demonstrating competence and compassion, leads to better patient outcomes and patient satisfaction.”

She works closely with James Majors, MD, and welcomes patients ages 18 and older.

Outside of work, Paige enjoys spending time with her family. She is a grandmother and a great grandmother.
