Dr. Wolff is a Columbus native, and is the third generation surgeon in his family who have been serving the community for over 70 years. He is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and dual fellowship trained in hip and knee replacements and orthopedic trauma.
Dr. Wolff received his BS from Presbyterian College South Carolina, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He then attended Mercer University Medical School, again graduation with honors. Dr. Wolff's orthopedic residency was at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN followed by a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction with Dr. Savory at the Hughston Clinic as well as an Orthopedic Trauma fellowship at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis, TN. Before retuning back to Columbus, he was an Associate Professor in Orthopedics as the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN.
Dr. Wolff has also served our country as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Reserve, having deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan four times as part of a Forward Surgical Team from 2006-2013. He received numerus commendations and medals including the Global War on terrorism Medal, NATO Service Medal, and the Combat Action Badge for providing patient care under enemy fire.
He is a member in good standing of multiple local, national and international medical societies including AAOS, Georgia Orthopaedic Society and Southern Orthopaedic Society, Mayo Society, and Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons.
