Lexie Jean Modlin, NP

Lexie Modlin is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in gastrointestinal health at the St. Francis Center for Digestive Disorders, where she manages all aspects of gastrointestinal conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel disorders, reflux, and ulcers.  

Lexie believes in a holistic approach to patient care, focusing on prevention, education, and empowering her patients to take an active role in their own well-being. She strives to create a safe and non-judgmental environment – where open communication is encouraged – to ensure that her patients receive the best possible care. 

Over her career, Lexie has worked in several nursing specialties, including emergency observation, home health, radiology, pre-op, and recovery room (PACU). She started her role as a nurse practitioner in Urology.

Outside of her practice, Lexie loves to garden, play with her three dogs, hunt, and watch Auburn football.
