Glenn Fussell, MD

Dr. Glenn Fussell has been a physician in Columbus since 1986. He is married with two sons. Ed is a project manager for Benning Construction in Atlanta, and Bob is in graduate school at Mercer University. His wife is a CPA and is quite busy running her own business. Dr. Fussell graduated from Universidad Tecnologica de Santiago in 1983 and did his residency in Rome Georgia at Floyd Family Medicine Residency. He has been board certified in Family Medicine since 1986. He also has a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatrics since 1994, and just recertified until 2026. He became a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Medicine in 1993.

He has served in several leadership positions. Most notably, he was Chief of Staff at Doctors Hospital from 1993-1995. Currently he serves as Immediate Past Chief of Staff Elect at St. Francis Hospital. He is a Past President of the Muscogee County Medical Society (2011 - 2013). He has been a Delegate to Medical Association of Georgia for many years.
